Plan details

Your pricing questions, answered.

How seats, coverage and billing fit together.

What does “per person” mean?

Each person using Headline Finder has a licensed seat.

For one person on Pro:

1 × $99 = $99 per month

What changes between plans?

Only the geographic scope. Pro covers one county, Plus covers an entire state, and Premier covers three states. All three plans include the same features.

Can we add coverage?

Add a county on Pro, or a state on Plus or Premier, for $25 per person per month for each additional area. Three people on Pro with one additional county pay $372/month before tax. The approved order lists all selected areas; a request does not activate access or create a charge.

Does the plan include every source?

No. Purchased coverage defines access to available records. Source availability and update schedules are confirmed for your selected area before onboarding. Your own saved notes and drafts remain accessible if you reduce coverage.

How does billing work?

Your subscription is arranged by written order and invoice. Requesting a demo does not start a subscription or create a charge.

How do we get started?

Choose a plan to request a walkthrough for your newsroom. We’ll show you the workspace and discuss the reporting you want to do. See what the demo covers.

What should we bring to the first session?

Your reporting area, priority agencies and beats, and the number of people who will use Headline Finder. We’ll work through the sources and a reporting assignment together.

How does a reporter pick up assigned work?

The handoff includes the development, attached source records and the editor’s note. In the product example, open Assignments to return to a completed handoff.
